Terms & Conditions

The provider is Craftra GmbH — BauPros division, Unter Linden 1, 50859 Köln ("BauPros"). These Terms and Conditions govern the use of BauPros Academy. The Academy is an online learning platform with learning materials for independent self-study. Access to the learning content is provided via paid subscriptions (see § 11).

The Academy provides digital learning content (specialist knowledge, safety standards, German language) as well as voluntary practice and self-test tools and an AI learning assistant for self-directed self-study. BauPros does not monitor or control learning success: the practice exercises, self-tests, and exam simulations included serve exclusively for voluntary self-assessment, are freely navigable, and are not mandatory for accessing further content. Automated (AI-supported) feedback constitutes general, non-binding learning aids without any binding assessment of learning success. It therefore does not constitute a distance learning contract (Fernunterrichtsvertrag) within the meaning of § 1 FernUSG (German Distance Learning Protection Act). BauPros owes the provision of the content in accordance with the contract, not any particular learning, examination, or professional success; no certificates, qualifications, or diplomas are issued. There is no entitlement to continuous availability.

Use requires an account. The information provided must be truthful; access is personal and non-transferable. The minimum age is 16 years.

Content is partly created with AI support; the AI tutor and AI evaluations do not replace professional, legal, or medical advice. Despite careful preparation, no guarantee can be given for the accuracy at all times of AI-generated content.

The content is intended solely for personal learning use. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use, as well as abusive use (e.g. automated bulk retrieval, circumvention of protective mechanisms), are prohibited.

BauPros may adjust, expand, or discontinue the scope of services. If the offering is discontinued, there is no entitlement to its continuation or to a replacement.

BauPros is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, as well as under the Product Liability Act and for injury to life, body, or health. In the case of simple negligence, BauPros is liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

The account can be deleted at any time without notice period via the profile settings. BauPros may suspend or delete accounts in the event of breaches of these Terms and Conditions.

The processing of personal data takes place in accordance with the Privacy Policy. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will be communicated to users in an appropriate form.

Access to the Academy's learning content is provided via paid services:

• Monthly subscription: access to extended learning content billed on a monthly basis. The subscription renews automatically for one further month at a time and can be cancelled at any time effective at the end of the current billing period without any minimum term. Cancellation is possible via the payment service provider Paddle or informally to info@baupros.com; a billing period that has already commenced will not be refunded on a pro-rata basis.
• Credit balance (credits) for the use of the AI-supported speaking/practice tool. Credits are acquired as a one-time purchase, credited to the account, and consumed upon use. Credits are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable.

A contract for a paid service comes into effect only upon the express, chargeable ordering process. The price displayed during the ordering process (including any applicable VAT) is decisive.

The sale and payment processing of paid services are handled by our reseller Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd.), which acts towards the customer as the seller (Merchant of Record) and assumes the payment processing as well as the VAT invoicing. Upon completion of the chargeable ordering process, Paddle's buyer terms apply in addition. Accepted payment methods and invoices are displayed in the Paddle checkout.

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details, the conditions for early expiry in the case of digital content/services, and the model withdrawal form are set out in the separate Withdrawal Policy.
